This special mechanism protects the rotating parts that drive the brushes.
This special mechanism protects the rotating parts that drive the brushes.
By constantly spinning in contact with the floor, cylindrical sweeper brushes can easily pick up wire, cellophane, textiles and other yarn-based fabrics. These materials can sometimes become twisted around the brush, gradually slipping to the edge and becoming jammed in bearings, belts, seals and transmission components, eventually preventing them from functioning.
SharkCap is designed to stop string and threads becoming entangled and damaging the sweeper.
The serrated edge of the device tears off collected material, preventing it from winding around the drive mechanism. The sweeper therefore always works smoothly, without unnecessary stress on the main brush drive system and its components, which can eventually lead to failure.
This leads to greater efficiency and avoids the high repair costs caused by jammed or broken transmission parts.
Available for the Tigra, Xtrema, Magnum and BULL 200.
