No sweeper is suitable for picking up very wet dirt or materials in the form of long threads.
Vacuuming liquids may damage the filter. Eureka uses washable polyester filters, so there is no risk of permanent damage, but to maintain maximum cleaning efficiency, you should avoid picking up wet materials. If you have to cross puddles or wet floors, deactivate the vacuum system while doing so.
Materials in the form of long threads tend to wrap around the brushes and flatten the bristles. Eureka’s special SharkCap® technology stops these materials from damaging the brush bearings, but accidental collection of belts, filaments or steel cables can still damage the bristles.
